“Nobody teaches you how to be a freelancer…”

In early 2022 Wilson’s Republic teamed up with the arts and creative development team at Kirklees Council to prototype a creative-led support network called Creative Bubbles. Participants loved it. It gave them a chance to share experiences and learn how other creatives practice their craft and run businesses. It was cathartic, fun, informative and inspiring.

We also discovered a lot about our creative community in Kirklees.

We wrote a report about our findings.
